However; when delays in development occur and these necessary speech and language skills are delayed it can lead to increased behavioral problems, social issues, and difficulties. We believe in the importance of parental education and involvement, and the use of home practice to help children meet their goals and improve their skills.
FFG offers a myriad of specialty service areas which include but are not limited to:
•Apraxia of Speech
•Early Intervention of Speech/Language Delay
•Expressive and Receptive Language Disorders
•Social Skills/Pragmatic Language Deficits
•Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
To determine if your child is having difficulty in any of the above or related areas, a Speech-Language evaluation will be performed. Standardized testing, informal observation, and parent information will be used to determine if speech-language services would be beneficial.
